Maria Skłodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Centre and Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, Head and Neck Cancer Clinic, General Surgery Division and Reconstructive Surgery Division

Dr Jaworowski began working in Maria Skłodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Centre and Institute of Oncology after having graduated from Warsaw Medical Academy (currently Warsaw Medical University) first as a junior doctor and then junior and senior assistant in Head and Neck Cancer Clinic. Doctor Jaworowski gradually gathered his professional experience working under the supervision of the renowned plastic surgeons: professor Edward Towpik and doctor Tadeusz Witwicki. He acquired special skills in the field of oncology and oral and maxillofacial surgery working under the supervision of doctor Stanisław Starościak and neurosurgery skills under the supervision of professor Romuald Krajewski. Working with doctor Sławomir Mazur he gained long and valuable experience in the treatment of breast cancer. His 20 years of experience in treating oncological patients resulted in his unique expertise, both in the field of oncological surgery (several hundred of head, neck and breast cancer removal surgeries) and oncology as well as plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery (several hundred of most complicated reconstructive microsurgeries) in oncological patients.

Simultaneously doctor Jaworowski conducted extensive scientific research on the improvement of reconstructive treatments. He is the author of acknowledged research grants financed by the National Centre for Research and Development as well as National Science Centre. He was the project manager of BioImplant and MentorEye projects.
